Not just the ballparks, really. Just about every University of Washington spring sports team is at home this weekend, and if the weather holds, there could be pretty good attendance at all of them.
The No. 1 Husky softball team will be the biggest draw, more than likely, taking on No. 2 Arizona Friday at 6 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and Sunday at noon. The baseball team is also home against Arizona those three days, as well.
Baseball tickets are $6 for adults, and $4 for children and senior citizens. Softball games are $8 for reserved seating, $6 for adult general admission and $4 for children and senior citizens.
You can also catch the UW crew’s races against Oregon State and Washington State on the Montlake Cut at 8:10 a.m. on Saturday.
The women’s tennis team is playing its final home matches of the season, too, taking on Stanford tomorrow at noon and California on Saturday at noon. It’ll be the final home match for UW’s three seniors Aleksandra Malovic, Lauren Summers and Joyce Ardies.
And last but not least, the UW men’s soccer team continues its spring schedule with a game against Portland on Saturday at noon.
The softball game may be a tough ticket given the strength of the program this season, as well as the caliber of opponent. But the rest of this weekend’s events on the UW campus will have plenty of good seats available, making it a great opportunity for families to get a look at the Huskies’ spring sports teams in action.
