Historic U-District sites compete for $1 million

Two historic sites in the U-District are among 25 sites across the area competing for $1 million in grants from the National Trust for Historic Preservation.  You’re asked to vote for your favorites now through May 12.  The winner of the vote is guaranteed to win a grant.  The two U-District sites in the running are the University Heights Community Center and the Theodor Jacobsen Observatory.  For more information on the contest, click here.
