The committee that will search for a new president for the University of Washington has just been confirmed. The Board of Regents approved the 17 members of the Presidential Search Advisory Committee. The committee includes administrators from all three UW campuses, UW regents, business leaders and the presidents-elect of the ASUW and the Graduate and Professional Student Senate. The chair of the committee will be Kellye Testy, dean of the School of Law. The committee plans to have a short list of finalists by January of 2011 to take over for outgoing president Mark Emmert.
