Can vinyl survive in the U-District?

After opening the doors in February, the owner of Mossy Bottom Records at NE 52nd and Brooklyn believes he can compete in the age of digital music.

“People, even if they don’t know it necessarily, are really wanting community places where they can get together and talk about music and art,” Nick Gorfkle told The Daily. “They also want the neighborhood-shows that you can just walk into and see a bunch of smiling people.”
